Controversial Ghanaian musician who has quite recently been active in the political space and government radar – Mzbel has lamented about how she lost everything because she supported the biggest opposition party in the country.
During the 2016 Ghana presidential election, a forefront of celebrities came out to endorse their favorite political party. Mzbel was no exception, has she was all over the place with her support for the then ruling NDC political party.
She was specifically a die hard supporter of former presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama and didn’t waste any chance when she had to jab Mahama’s opponent – Nana Akufo-Addo.
Unfortunate for her, things did not go well for the NDC party as they lost the 2016 presidential slot to the NPP.
According to GhanaCelebrities, the pop musician in a recent interview lamented that since the NPP took office, she has been sidelined for everything. She cried about losing endorsement deals and businesses as well.
“I have lost a lot of fans, I have lost a lot of businesses, I have lost so many things just because I was vocal about politics,”
